Something I love about siren mythology is the element of sisterhood. There is never just one, singular siren; there is always a group (different numbers, depending on your source). In the spirit of modern sirens, this article from the Chicago Tribune caught my attention. I really love the title group, Moonrise Nation, a Shakespeare quoting trio (friends and sisters) right out of high school who write their own music and create such a haunting, ethereal, yet powerful mood with their songs. I particularly like the song "Hide Your Fire" with its allusions to Macbeth.
